David recently Music Directed and performed his biggest hits as part of a concert event produced by Kevin Jonas to raise money for the global charity Convoy of Hope.
David brought together legendary classic rock stars Richard Page (of Mr. Mister and Ringo's All stars,) and John Elefante (former lead singer of Kansas) to perform with him. The band was comprised of superstar musicians Kenny Aronoff (drums, Mellencamp, Fogerty, etc,) Alex Al (bass, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder) and others.
For the finale song with all three headliners on stage, David chose Ryan Tedder/One Republic's "I Lived" anthem, and singing with David and the group was Ryan's father Gary Tedder.
But before the finale, the crowd was wowed by 40 years of massive hits, from Kansas's "Carry On Wayward Son," to Mr. Mister's "Broken Wings," Ambrosia's "Biggest Part of Me," and many, many more.
The event (which David also music directed and co-headlined in 2015) raised over double what it raised last year, and was a great success all around.
