BOTTLEROCK NAPA VALLEY

David & friends Jim Peterik, Bill Champlin, John Elefante, and Silver Oak CEO David Duncan, rocked Bottlerock with their set on Sat. May 30, backed by a superstar band that included Kenny Aronoff-drums, Alex Al-bass, Tom Brooks-keys & Dave Coyle-guitar.

The huge crowd loved hearing 4 decades of their classic hit songs that collectively have sold
over half a billion albums.
There were some amazing moments over the course of the hour-long set. Bill Champlin sang "Hard Habit to Break" as a duet with his wife Tamara. David Pack brought Silver Oak CEO (and singer-songwriter) David Duncan up on stage to play the beautiful song "Every Time I Look At You" from his new Napa Crossroads CD. John Elefante has the whole crowd singing along with impeccably-sung Kansas classics like "Carry On Wayward Son." And Jim Peterik pulled out all the stops for the encore song "Eye of the Tiger" from his band Survivor - including a behind-the-back guitar solo, and guest vocals from up-and-coming singer Sielle (for whom David co-wrote some songs and produced her EP in 2014!)

Behind every song was the amazing section of backing vocalists, each of whom has done tremendous things in their own right in the music industry. They were Emily Benford, Keri Larson, Mario Jose, and Gary Tedder (and if you guessed that Gary was the father of the amazing Ryan Tedder of One Republic, you'd be right!)

It was a truly amazing set, capped off by a press conference, where the pictures you see here were taken. Then a few hours later Robert Plant played the main stage...  Stay tuned for the story of David’s chance meeting with Robert backstage before his set!
